Trump is getting ready for bed (don’t worry, that’s as far as we’re taking THAT visual here).

Fox News is blasting in the background.

He’s just gotten off the phone with Steve Bannon, Rupert Murdoch, or whichever foreign dictator he’s still pals with.

His head hits his pillow, on a bed filled with old McDonald’s wrappers and Melania’s regret, but he can’t sleep.

What whisper does he hear? It’s us. The Lincoln Project.

A lot has changed since we’ve entered the political battlefield. But one thing has remained exactly the same.

Donald Trump just can’t get us out of his head. And we won’t stop until we get him and Trumpism out of our politics.
