Vice Presidents Are United: Trump Ain’t It

September 10, 2024 —Four years ago Mike Pence and Kamala Harris hammered at each other to get the job, but now both Vice Presidents are joined by Dick Cheney in trying to stop a destructive Trump second term. In a new ad, the Lincoln Project eviscerates Trump for being so dangerous to the Constitution that the last two Republican Vice Presidents are refusing to endorse him.

“Donald Trump is running as a dictator in waiting who has nothing contempt for American values,” said Ryan Wiggins, Chief of Staff to the Lincoln Project. “Trump tried overthrowing the government and is already dangerously questioning the results of the 2024 election. That Trump has brought together Dick Cheney, Mike Pence and the progressive Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez against his nomination shows what an insane monster he is.” 

Trump’s own Vice President, Mike Pence, refuses to endorse – probably because Trump “expressed support for hanging” him on J6. Dick Cheney, one of the most conservative politicians in modern Republican history said, “In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump.”
