THE LINCOLN PROJECT REMINDS AMERICANS WHAT IT MEANS TO LEAD UNDER PRESSURE

February 15, 2022 — As Ukrainians unite to defend their homeland against imminent Russian aggression, The Lincoln Project today released an ad reminding viewers all of America’s strongest presidents over the last seventy years have stood in solidarity against the evils of communist Russia.

“For generations strong American presidents have defiantly stood up to Russia’s  imperialism in defense of our democratic allies and values,”  said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. Despite what the radical right media would have you believe, President Biden is showing the same resolve that President Reagan showed during the Cold War and should have the unwavering support of all Americans as he strives to safeguard the embers of liberty abroad.”

The 60 second ad, “Twilight,” begins running digitally today in Washington, DC and will run Wednesday in Washington, DC on Fox News and during Morning Joe on MSNBC.
