November 3, 2020 —Today The Lincoln Project released a new ad highlighting Donald Trump’s efforts to suppress Georgia voters. The ad centers around the Trump campaign efforts to encourage Georgia Republicans into manipulating the election in their state — closing polling places, ignoring military votes, throwing out mail-in ballots, and intimidating voters.
“Donald Trump and his campaign know they can’t win Georgia fair and square, so they’re resorting to doing whatever is in their power to encourage fewer people to vote,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “As the ad states: If you’re an elected official in Georgia helping to steal the election for Trump, you will be caught and you will face the consequences.”
Georgia will help decide who will be the next president of the United States, and not only is counting every vote the right thing to do — it is also the law. If you violate the law, you will face the consequences.
