TNN Just Tried To Silence Us Too

CNN just moved further into the MAGA camp. Earlier today, we called them the Trump News Network (TNN) and put ad trucks outside their HQ because they were meeting with advertisers. Just like with Fox, we wanted them to know TNN was Brand Unsafe.

Then, they took a page right out of Fox’s authoritarian playbook. They sent staff out to yell at our legally parked truck and threatened to call the police.

So, if you’re keeping track at home, that’s two times major television networks have threatened to violate our First Amendment rights in the past 48 hours. 

All we’re doing is telling the truth. Any network that gives Trump a platform is Brand Unsafe. Yes, we’re looking at you TNN >>

They were once the most trusted name in news. They brought you breaking stories for years and helped keep you informed on daily events from around the world.

But then they gave Trump a 90-minute platform to boost his presidential campaign. They kept the cameras rolling when he and his supporters laughed about sexual assault. They barely fact-checked him after he spouted The Big Lie and promised to pardon insurrectionists.

Last week, Trump claimed them for himself. CNN became the Trump News Network.

What does the rise of TNN tell us? It proves that the mainstream media is once again in with Trump. They’re ready to trade our democracy for ratings. And just like Fox News, that makes them Brand Unsafe to every advertiser in the country.

Today, CNN is having its meeting with advertisers looking to sponsor the network. So we’re teaching them the same lesson they heard at Fox.

If you advertise on CNN, you’re helping fund Trump’s return to The White House. CNN is brand unsafe and just like Fox they must be avoided. Help us spread the message to the people who need to hear it.
