MAGA Backs A Sexual Assaulter

January 29, 2024 – In the wake of the second E. Jean Carroll defamation decision, the Lincoln Project is releasing a new ad today. Sexual abuse is a serious and traumatic subject for millions of women, and this case is a second reminder that MAGA unhesitatingly backs a man twice judged guilty of sexual assault and of compounding the damage he did by defaming his victim.

“Donald Trump must hand over $83 million as punishment for tormenting his victim and igniting the savagery of his online followers in order to destroy her life,” said Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project. “Anyone who still supports Donald Trump is joining the war on women he and the rest of the GOP are waging.”

As part of our ‘Audience Of One’ strategy, the ad will run on Fox News in Mar-a-Lago to ensure Trump and his family see it; we will also expand this ad targeting Republican women voters in key Electoral College swing states.
