THE LINCOLN PROJECT TELLS WISCONSIN VOTERS MICHELS WANTS TO RETURN TO THE 19TH CENTURY

October 19, 2022 — The Lincoln Project released a new ad warning voters how Tim Michels wants to send women back to pre-civil war 1849, where abortion is illegal and only white men could vote. A Michels governorship will see a radical extremist take power who will fight a culture war rather than govern.

You can watch the ad here. The ad buy targets affluent moderate women and parents of children who are college age that have shown movement in other races.

“Tim Michels is an ultra-MAGA extremist who will crush individual liberty if elected,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of the Lincoln Project. “When a candidate says things were better in 1849, he isn’t going to stop at just abortion. He is a Trump sycophant only interested in re-litigating the 2020 election and pushing a radical agenda that destroys our democratic institutions. Every Wisconsinite who cherishes individual freedom and good governance must stop Michels in November.”
