April 19, 2021 – The Lincoln Project today released a new ad in the Washington, DC and Palm Beach media markets entitled “An Idea Called America.” The 60-second spot discusses the American experiment as a radical idea at the founding of our nation and calls on each American to defend and renew the promise of the idea of America.
“For more than two centuries, the American experiment has been a beacon of hope and freedom to countries around the world,” said Rick Wilson, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “For generations, Americans have given their all for freedom at home and abroad.
The threat of radical national populism is testing the strength of our republic as never before. The choice is stark, and immediate; do we fight for the American dream, or do we sink under the bloody tide of authoritarian populism?”
