April 14, 2021 The Lincoln Project has activated its hundreds of thousands of supporters in a petition drive to send a message to the corporate officers and the board of directors of JetBlue.

The petition comes as JetBlue decided after only a short pause to resume its PAC donations to the Sedition Caucus. It asks that JetBlue stop donating money to Members of Congress who supported overturning the election and publicly oppose voter suppression efforts in any state where bills designed to make voting more difficult are currently being considered.

“As good corporate citizens, JetBlue must use the strength of their brand to stand against anyone who threatens our democratic institutions and processes, and speak out against any and all attempts to silence minorities or make it more difficult for any American to vote,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “Corporate America has long taken on difficult and potentially divisive social issues when the time called for it. It’s time for JetBlue, and other corporations like them, to add democracy to their docket.”

The Lincoln Project is a group of former Republicans who worked to defeat Donald J. Trump and will continue to fight on behalf of American democracy.
