Taking office after Donald Trump orchestrated the 1/6 insurrection to stop the transfer of power, Biden encountered a nation reeling from a mismanaged pandemic and an economy wrecked by incompetence. Rather than playing partisan games, Biden pulled the nation up by instilling hope and confidence while reclaiming patriotism from extremists.
