STATEMENT FROM THE LINCOLN PROJECT

Oppression against any segment of the population is oppression against the entire population. The Supreme Court of the United States is a cornerstone of our democracy and must remain impartial to political pressure. Today, in their decision to allow The State of Alabama to disenfranchise black voters, SCOTUS failed all Americans who continue to pursue a more perfect union.
