THE LINCOLN PROJECT HARPOONS REPUBLICANS LATEST TAX PLAN IN AD 

April 18, 2022 — As Americans file their income taxes today, a new ad from the Lincoln Project focuses on the new Rick Scott-Mitch McConnell tax plan. The new Republican tax hike sends a clear message; they believe working families don’t have “skin in the game” on the economy. The ad shows the Republican plan ignores fighting inflation but insists on tax hikes on families making less than $50,000.

“Republican billionaire donors think this plan is brilliant since they don’t have to share the pain with hard-working Americans who are already feeling the effects of rising prices,” said Rick Wilson. “ The Republican Party just does not care about working families. Every American must do all they can to end the Republican Party’s ambitions right now.”
