THE LINCOLN PROJECT AD: MASTRIANO AND GAB ARE BUILDING A BASE OF HATE

September 22, 2022 – The Lincoln Project releases a new ad telling Pennsylvanian’s about Doug Mastriano’s embrace of antisemites as his base at the same time Pennsylvania’s Jewish community faces increased threats of violence.

Rather than disassociate himself from such terrible acts, Doug Mastriano goes out and hires the CEO of Gab – the bigoted social network where the perpetrators are radicalized. All so he can gain support from the Nazi’s, racists and bigots who make up the network.

You can watch the ad here. It will run on broadcast in Harrisburg and digitally statewide. The focus is on higher-income swing voters and the collar counties of Philadelphia and the suburbs/exurbs of Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.

He’s an election denier embracing the bigotry of ultra-MAGA to gain power for himself,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “Mastriano rejects America’s democratic ideals in favor of a corrupted vision that promotes hate and conspiracy. Every Pennsylvanian who cares about democracy needs to get engaged and work to keep Mastriano from taking office.”
