How We Get the Job Done
When we started The Lincoln Project, we had a big goal. We wanted to build a political coalition that had never been built before to stop a true threat to our democracy. Democrats, Republicans, Independents – we wanted to unite them all under the pro-democracy banner.
Nearly four years into the mission, we’re proud to see the pro-democracy movement become a winning, decisive force at the ballot box.
Our ads still drive Trump crazy and reach a bigger audience every day. Our grassroots efforts have never been stronger. And we remain the leading force in the fight against Trump.
Sustaining support is the reason why we’ve been able to grow into the political force we are today. And sustaining support will be the reason why we defeat Trump again in 2024. If you haven’t pitched in monthly, now is a great time to do it.
Why is a monthly contribution the best way to support our work? At the beginning of every month, we set our budget. That determines how many messages we can produce, how big of an audience we can reach, and that’s on top of all the resources we need to manage the biggest pro-democracy organization in politics.
Sustaining contributions are the backbone of that budget. Without that support, we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do. It’s that simple.
