GLENN YOUNGKIN’S REFUSAL TO DENOUNCE ANTI-SEMITISM ON DISPLAY IN NEW LINCOLN PROJECT AD
October 12, 2021 — Today, The Lincoln Project has released a new ad highlighting Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin’s refusal to condemn the anti-Semitic campaign tactics used by the Republican Party of Virginia. The ad, which will air in the Charlottesville media market on Tuesday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 13, is titled “Glenn Will Not Replace Us.”
“Glenn Youngkin is doing all he can to appeal to Trump’s MAGA base — including standing behind an anti-Semitic mailer that was sent out by his state’s party,” said Lincoln Project co-founder Reed Galen. “Youngkin pretends to be a political outsider, but seems to understand all too well what appeals to the Republican base of 2021: white nationalist bigotry. Virginia already rejected this kind of hate after Charlottesville; it’s time to do it again this November.”
