Those who support corrupt efforts to silence voters will face consequences.

November 3, 2020—On Election Day, The Lincoln Project is today releasing a series of state-based videos reminding voters that the fight isn’t over yet.

A video aimed at Arizonans highlights the complicity of Governor Doug Ducey and Senator Martha McSally in efforts to suppress the vote. Arizona has already been a hotspot for threats of voter intimidation.

“The Trump administration and their crooked pals Ducey and McSally will do whatever it takes to win, even if that means intimidating and disenfranchising voters,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “It’s our job to make sure they know there will be consequences to the havoc they’re wreaking on Arizona and the nation at large. They will not get away with tearing at the fabric of our democracy in their crazed quest for power.”

Arizona has already begun tallying mail-in votes and may act as a bellwether for other swing states. Despite Republicans’ best efforts, Arizonans recognize this election is historically consequential and are casting their votes in record numbers. If Ducey and McSally break the law in an effort to stop votes from being counted, they will face the consequences.
