Donald Trump has consistently used the Office of the Presidency to further his family-business dealings, his children do his bidding.
WASHINGTON, DC US, March 13, 2020- Today, The Lincoln Project released its first ad, “Grifters: Episode One.” The Grifters ads will focus on the long history of shady business dealings, corruption and general grift of Trump family members. This ad highlights the many ways the President’s children have abused their access to the President of the United States.
The ad will run this morning on FOX News, MSNBC and CNN.
“President Trump’s children have established a record of the worst kind of grifting. They have spent the past three years abusing their access to the most powerful office in the land to line their own pockets, funnel money to their spouses and girlfriends, financially benefit the family business and have leveraged their father’s elected position to advance foreign business deals,” said Jennifer Horn, co-founder of The Lincoln Project.
“While their father has held the office of President, Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric Trump and Jared Kushner have run the family business like a mob enterprise, and it’s time someone held them accountable. The Lincoln Project will continue to do so as long as they continue to abuse the office of the Presidency for their personal financial gain.
The Lincoln Project will not stand silently by and allow Donald Trump and his low traveling campaign allies to lie about Vice President Biden and his family in an attempt to cheat their way to another election victory. In spite of his promises otherwise, President Trump has not divested himself from the Trump Organization and is estimated to own more than $130 million in assets in 30 countries under the trust controlled by his children.
The Lincoln Project is working to defeat Donald Trump and those candidates who have abandoned their constitutional oaths, regardless of party.
