Why would anyone vote for Martha McSally?
WASHINGTON, DC US, May 7, 2020 – Today, The Lincoln Project released a new video entitled, “Why?,” asking the question, “Why would anyone vote for Martha McSally knowing full well her loyalty lies with Trump?”
“Martha McSally has tarnished the strong and powerful leadership that came before her. People like John McCain and Barry Goldwater have worked tirelessly for Arizonans and Martha McSally has only worked for Donald Trump,” said Jennifer Horn, co-founder of The Lincoln Project.
Sen. McSally is currently trying to hold onto her unelected Senate seat as Democrat Mark Kelly consistently polls above her. In 2018, she was appointed to serve in Sen. John McCain’s seat when interim Sen. Jon Kyl retired in 2019.
The Lincoln Project is committed to defeating candidates, like McSally, who have abandoned their Constitutional oath.
