Maya May
Maya May is a stand-up comedian, writer, teacher, and host on a mission to fix America’s institutions by roasting those who created them: sad white men. She is optimistic for a better future and furious enough to fight for it. As co-host of The Lincoln Project's We're Speaking, she has interviewed scholars, policy experts, and politicians, including Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and former National Domestic Policy Director Cecilia Muñoz. Whether talking about the challenges of tackling white nationalism in our schools or the importance of re-authorizing critical legislation like the Violence Against Women Act, Maya's eternal question is, "so we gonna fix this or nah?"

Lisa Senecal
Lisa Senecal is a writer, strategic communications consultant, and a recovering political campaign professional having worked on gubernatorial, US House and Senate
campaigns, and statewide policy initiatives. She is an outspoken advocate for lifting up the voices of those on the margins and for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ folk to have not one, but many seats at the table. As co-host of The Lincoln Project’s We’re Speaking, she talks with policy makers, experts, activists, and Americans facing the issues our country must confront, but works hard to avoid: racism, misogyny, white supremacy, domestic terrorism, and the ongoing, existential threat to our democracy that is Trumpism and the GOP’s plunge into authoritarianism.
JOIN THE LINCOLN PROJECT
There is no time for complacency.
There is no time for living room activism. Every day must be spent asking ourselves if we’re doing our part, if we’re doing enough to ensure that the grand idea called America continues.
Thank you for joining us in this fight.
